Overview

Tsawq connects buyers and sellers through a classifieds marketplace/platform. Tsawq is not a party to user transactions and does not guarantee listings, users, payments, delivery, condition, ownership or authenticity. Use caution, verify information independently and report suspicious activity.

\n

1. General Marketplace Safety

Meet in a public, well-lit and safe location when possible. Tell someone where you are going if meeting another user. Inspect items carefully before paying. Verify identity, ownership, documents and condition before completing a transaction. Be cautious of deals that seem too good to be true. Keep communication professional and avoid pressure tactics. Do not share sensitive personal or financial information unnecessarily.

\n

2. Payments and Deposits

Be careful with advance payments, deposits, transfer requests or shipping-only arrangements. Avoid sending money before inspecting the item or verifying the seller. Do not rely on screenshots as proof of payment. Be cautious of fake escrow, fake shipping, fake bank transfer or refund scams. Tsawq does not currently represent that it processes, holds, guarantees or protects payments between users.

\n

3. Phishing, OTP and Password Scams

Never share passwords, one-time passwords, verification codes, bank codes or account recovery codes. Tsawq will not ask you to give another user your password or verification code. Be cautious of suspicious links, fake login pages and urgent messages claiming your account will be closed. Access Tsawq directly through the official website instead of unknown links.

\n

4. Safe Meetings

Prefer public places, avoid isolated locations, do not carry large amounts of cash when avoidable, bring another person if appropriate, and leave if you feel unsafe or pressured.

\n

5. Vehicles

Before buying or selling a vehicle, verify ownership and registration documents, check vehicle identification numbers and documents, inspect the vehicle in person or through a trusted professional, check for liens, accident history, unpaid fees or legal restrictions where possible, and complete transfer and payment procedures through lawful and safe methods.

\n

6. Property

Before renting, buying or responding to property listings, verify ownership or authority to rent/sell, visit the property when possible, be cautious of requests for deposits before viewing or verifying documents, review contracts carefully, and confirm licensing, agency authority and legal documentation where applicable.

\n

7. Jobs

Before applying or sharing documents, be cautious of jobs that require upfront fees, verify the employer and job details, avoid sharing unnecessary identity documents early, watch for unrealistic salaries, vague roles, immigration scams or requests to receive/send money, and do not accept work that appears illegal, unsafe or exploitative.

\n

8. Electronics

Before buying electronics, inspect the device before payment, check serial numbers where possible, confirm the device is not locked, stolen or blocked, test key functions, chargers, accessories and accounts, and be cautious of unusually low prices or missing proof of ownership.

\n

9. Counterfeit Goods

Check authenticity, receipts, serial numbers, packaging and warranty information. Be cautious of branded goods sold at unrealistic prices. Do not buy or sell counterfeit or trademark-infringing goods.

\n

10. Reporting Suspicious Activity

Report suspicious listings, users or messages if you see fraud, scams, fake payment proof, illegal or prohibited items, requests for passwords or verification codes, threats, harassment, abuse, counterfeit or stolen goods, misleading jobs, property or vehicle listings, suspicious links or phishing attempts. Use available reporting tools or contact support@tsawq.com.
